Norway Rats for Adoption

Norway Rat Care Guide

Picture
Names: Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa
Sex: Females
Age: 4-5 months
Status: Available
Health: Healthy
Notes:
RATPINK arrived in our care due to their owner sadly passing away. All the girls are in brilliant health and like typical young goes, they're super excitable and always on the go! The girls never fail to jump out their hammock and say hello every. single. time. they hear you. They're two roans and two red-eyed white females.
They must be rehomed together and can join an existing group.
Minimum Donation: £25.00

Picture
Names: Charlotte and Chloe
Sex: Female
Age: 6-10 months
Status: Unavailable
Health: Both girls were pregnant and gave birth in our care. They were fantastic mothers. Chloe does have evidence of lung scarring due to previous infection. This may make her more prone to further infections in the future.
Notes:
These two gorgeous girls arrived as part of the large rat rescue in January where over 80 rats were surrendered into our care. Unfortunately, such a traumatic life has left the girls wary of handling and Chloe has been known to nip but usually settles down. They must be rehomed together and can join and existing group,
Minimum Donation: £10.00

Names: Nala, Fifi, Indy, Valorie, Coco, and Whitney
Sex; Females
Status: Unavailable
Age: 5 months - 1.2 years
Health: These girls arrived as part of the large hoarding case where over 80 rats were surrendered into our care. The most common issue amongst 90% of the rats were respiratory infections and most have recieved a course, if not several courses, of antibiotics. As a result of the horrendous neglect, a lot of the girls have been left with lung scarring ranging from mild to moderate. Some rats only sneeze here and there, others occasionally have audible lung sounds. The most severe rats have been x-rayed to check for other respiratory issues that could be causing these symptoms. Their condition will need to be monitored and they may be more prone to respiratory infections further down the line. We've been informed from owners of other rats that have been adopted that "new home sniffles" has been seen in most rats. Our adoption contract will reassure you that you will always have a lifetime of free advice and rescue space back up is always there.
Notes:
Some of the girls are such as Valorie, Nala (siamese) and Fifi (black) are very bitey and will need an experienced home. The girls must be rehomed in pairs and trios minimum.
Minimum Donation: £10.00 for a pair and £15.00 for a trio (reduced adoption fee due to lung scarring in the rats)
