Here is some information about our adoption process:
Enquiring:
You can contact us to ask us any questions you might have about the adoption application process; arranging viewings, additional information about any animal(s) you may be interested in etc.
You can contact us via social media or by email: [email protected].
Application:
Once you've established who you're applying to adopt, you must fill out an adoption questionnaire.
The non-judgmental questions provide us with the necessary information regarding the care the animal(s) you're wanting to adopt will recieve. Adoption is a group effort; we can work together to overcome any areas of concern - if there are any.
You can fill out your questionnaire in your own time, but we cannot reserve an animal(s) until we've approved your application form.
Depending on the animal you're adopting, we may need to perform a home check.
Once a member of staff has approved your answers on the questionnaire, we can reserve the animal you're interested in. Reservation prevents the animal(s) from being rehomed to someone else.
Please, if you're no longer able to adopt your animal for any reason, let us know ASAP. If you don't, this will stop an animal from finding their forever home.
We generally recommend coming to our facilities to meet/collect your animal. This provides reassurance about where your animal(s) is coming from, and it's less stressful for the animal(s) too. Please email us if you need further assistance.
Once you're entirely confident you want to adopt, we will ask you to sign an adoption form. Once you've signed the adoption form, the animal will be yours!

Additional Information:
- We offer a lifetime of advice and rescue space back-up. This means you're able to return your animal(s) to us at any point - no questions asked. We aim to collect the animal(s) within 7-days free of charge.
- A donation is mandatory with every adoption. Minimum donations go towards costs of rehabilitating new arrivals to ensure they're ready for adoption. This often includes neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, implants depending on the species. Some animals arrive with existing health issues which also costs the rescue to treat the animal to ensure each animal is in good health when up for adoption. The set minimum donation ensures we are not profiting from rehoming rescues.
