Names: Gandalf and Gollum
Ages: 2.5 years
Sex: Neutered males
Status: Available
Health: Healthy. Both neuters were uneventful,
Notes: Gandalf and Gollum were part of a large hoarding case of guinea pigs; boars were fighting with other boars over sows and due to overcrowding, and many of the sows were pregnant. All the guinea pigs have made good recoveries. Gandalf and Gollum are a neutered pair of boars who get on well together. They must be rehomed together and cannot join any pre-existing groups.

Names: Yasmin, Yoselin, and Teddy
Ages: 1-3 years
Sex: Neutered male and two females
Status: Available
Health: Teddy underwent an abdominal castration and recovered well. Both Yasmin and Yoselin have undergone ovariectomies and they recovered well.
Notes:
Yasmin and Yoselin are two sisters who welcomed Teddy into their herd. They arrived into our care as their previous owner wanted a new sofa where their cage was. Yasmin was also pregnant and birthed 5 babies. Unfortunately, she rejected her young and they were then hand-reared by our team. Teddy was also an unwanted pet as a child had grown bored of him. They've all been through so much in their short lives, and are now desperate to find their forever home.
Understandably, they're nervous piggies - though, they grow more confident as soon as they hear there's veggies available! They are able to join an existing sow, or herd of sows.

Names: Mufasa and Tatiana
Ages: Tatiana (1 year) and Mufasa (4 years)
Sex: Neutered male and female
Status: Available
Health: Mufasa is a neutered boar and Tatiana underwent an ovariectomy
Notes:
Mufasa and Tatiana are two very confident guinea pigs who found love once arriving at the rescue. Mufasa came to us via the RSPCA as they were struggling to place him, whereas Tatiana was hand-reared by ourselves after her Mother rejected her. We decided to pair them as we felt both would benefit from companionship sooner rather than later. Luckily, they fell head over heels for each other!
They're now searching for a forever home together, ideally to join an existing sow, or herd of sows.

Name: Antonio
Age: 2-3 years Sex: Neutered male Status: Available Health: Antonio was neutered abdominally by our vet and recovered well from surgery. Otherwise, he is totally healthy. Notes: Antonio is a very timid boar who has had an incredibly traumatic past having been saved from deplorable conditions. He will need a kind and patient owner to show him that not all humans mean harm. He will need a home with an existing sow, or herd of sows that aren't overpowering. Antonio cannot be rehomed with children or to a noisy household. Minimum Donation: £50.00 |
